wouldve been easy to just make a ghost asset, player asset, item assets and call it a day... but the variations, even if only a few, really tie everything together into a really charming spooky game

I love it! "smudges" is a great name for this, it has a really perfect atmosphere.

nice changes, the melody is very lyrical and floats nicely! I would heavily recommend considering arpeggiation earlier in the piece. I really like this as a waltz, but it could use some more rhythmical color in the pianos left hand? that's up to you, just something to consider. good ideas, though!
